An advanced training for restorers hosted by WIT-Wissen Transfer, University Network Tübingen, University Library Tübingen and IADA (International Association of Book and Paper Conservators)
Date: from May 8th to 12th, 1995, in the Heinrich-Fabri-Institute of the University of Tübingen.
Idea
Two years ago, at an international conference for restorers, I met a colleague, who had problems to reconstruct a historic knot. I was reminded of Ms Lydia Chen and had the idea to invite her from Taiwan to hold a course on traditional knot craft in Germany and to have some exhibitions arranged. I was very pleased that Ms Chen promised to come. In this way, three exhibitions and one course came into being.
